Midwest Health Exchange is a health information exchange (HIE) that many local providers and hospitals are connected to.

Being connected allows your health care providers to have instant access to your health information from your other connected providers. This allows them to conveniently share information in a timely manner. Sharing data has been shown to significantly increase the quality and safety of your care and in emergency situations, this can save your life. You have the right to opt out of having your protected health information exchanged in the system. If you do not want your information exchanged, you can download and complete the Opt-Out Form and return it to Arthur Center. Opt-Out Forms are also available at the front desk of Arthur Center or you may call for more information at 573-582-1234
